  1. Even though it’s been shown ‘to death’, and I’ve seen it at least 50 times, that video clip of NEO stopping the bullets in mid-air still gives me goosebumps (along with the right music, anyway.)

    • Me too!

  2. It really annoys me how much people make fun of certain movies in this case, batman, because of extremely common sense, and logical jumps in story or narrative simply to save time, but because frankly they’re too stupid to gather how the character got there, it’s a “plot hole” such as how Wayne got back hoem after escaping the prison, why is that important? He’s bruce Wayne i think he could manage it, would we care about watching him do so? Every single mistake mentioned in that video was either
    A) False
    B) Easily explainable

or in most cases both A and B were applicable.

    • I totally agree how it’s annoying when people equate narrative jumps to plot holes, and a lot of those (like Bruce re-entering Gotham, why they didn’t blow up the last bridge, etc.) aren’t plot holes at all, but I don’t really take this one seriously because it’s obviously just meant to poke fun at the movie, so I’m not really bothered.

Just wait till a TDKR hater starts sharing this video just to prove that the movie suck…THAT

      • So the scene where they’re on the motorcycles riding away from the stock exchange, that was just a “narrative jump?” No, that was just bad editing. Don’t get me wrong, I love TDKR, but the movie did have a few problems, and while most of the things “wrong” with the movie in that video were just there to poke fun and not really serious, a few of them are legitimate points, so you can’t write them all off as not being actual mistakes. Again, for the most part I loved TDKR, but people do need to realize it wasn’t perfect.

        • No one’s denying the film had plot holes. And when did I write off all of their points as being mistaken? If they were all wrong I wouldn’t enjoy the video – it was fun because it was mostly true. Neither was I (or for that matter anyone else, I think) putting TDKR on a pedestal and calling it a perfect movie.

What Joe was likely referring to (and what I actually was referring to) are things like questioning how Bruce gets back into Gotham – that’s a narrative jump. (The motorcycles riding away, the day-to-night chase, those were definitely holes). I mean, Bruce is effectively a ninja, he managed to travel around the world with nothing but the clothes on his back (in Begins) and we were shown that smuggling people in is possible. So it’s not a stretch at all for him to get back in.

          • My apologies, in your comment it seemed like you were saying any plot holes people say the movie had weren’t plot holes. And I do agree on certain stuff that people called a plot hole in the movie not being one, like your example of Bruce getting back into Gotham. I just thought you were trying to say there weren’t any plot holes.

And the motorcycles riding from the stock exchange scene was just something I don’t see how they didn’t catch that. It was hugely obvious to me that it made no sense when I watched it.

        • Motorcycles riding from the stock exchange was not “bad editing”. It was definitely a plot hole. (Or, if you don’t like that term, it was something in the movie that just doesn’t make any sense.)

From the time Bane was about to leave the stock exchange in broad daylight to the time Batman picked up the tablet outside in pitch black was 8 minutes. It clearly said so on the download on the tablet. I don’t think any place has that drastic of a change in such a short time frame.

  3. The Batman mashup was great!

    • Agreed

  4. I swore off watching Transformers movies after 2 and 3, but damn…that trailer. If for some reason the impossible happens and Michael Bay finds that video and makes that movie, I’d watch it. I really would.

  5. Dead Batman Down was pretty cool!

  6. These “movie mistake videos” just irritate me. Yeah, it has flaws, but so what? Give me a great movie with ZERO plot holes, then you can start this stuff.

But, that “live action Toy Story” video was great! Talk about dedication, lol.

  7. Coming from a big fan of TDKR, I thought the movie sins video was hilarious. True, a lot of the points were either random irrelevant nitpicks (nipple bed, LOL), or things that could be easily explained just by paying attention to the movie (Bane explained why he was keeping the cops alive). But still, the video was pretty hilarious.

And I don’t think the guys doing it are anti-Nolan Marvelites, because they also did one for The Avengers. And The Amazing Spider-Man.

  8. Also Matrix + Man of Steel = Awesome. Basic Algebra. :)

  9. On the record this is the greatest site on earth! You guys all do an amazing job! Ive been an avid screen rant fan for over a year now! And just wanna say thanks.
