This weekend’s big event, Super Bowl 48, brought with it a bevvy of memorable TV commercials and movie trailers and earning the most buzz were the new full-length trailers for Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, along with the first-look TV spot for Transformers: Age of Extinction.

In our first video, we analyzed and discussed the recently revealed character designs from X-Men: Days of Future Past, and this week we turn our attention to the buzzworthy movie commercials that debuted during the Super Bowl. Check our our lists of the 10 best 2014 Super Bowl commercials and the best Super Bowl commercials of all-time for more and watch the video above for our thoughts on the movie-specific ads.

From a deeper look into the story of Electro (Jamie Foxx) in the Spidey sequel and an action-packed origin tale of The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) in the Cap sequel, the two new full-length, Marvel Comics-based trailers were only topped on the buzz meter by Michael Bay’s fourth Transformers feature and the long-awaited introduction of the Dinobots.
