[UPDATE: Advanced Tickets for Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen are now on sale!!!!]

You know it’s almost time for Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen to hit theaters because promotional items from the film are flying out and onto the Net daily. This week alone we’ve had Transformers 2 pics, Transformers 2 TV spots and even an interview with star Shia LeBeouf about making the film.

Well, this being Friday and all (TGIF!), Screen Rant has a double-whammy for you: six new stills from Revenge of The Fallen that are 100% kickass robots, as well as three new character wallpapers, courtesy of LG Mobile.

Ok, there a lot of really cool pics to get to, so without further ado (click any image two times for a gorgeous hi-res version):

In case you didn't already know how huge Devastator is

Those hi-res pics are pretty freaking sweet and by “pretty freaking sweet” I mean that they’re all robot and none of those pesky humans who keep getting in the way (Megan Fox excluded). That last pic of Devastator is CRAZY; up until now I don’t think we’ve really had a good visual scale for just how huge the finished Devastator really is. That sequence is going to awesome to behold in true IMAX.

Speaking of which, I don’t think I’ve heard all that much buzz about the IMAX sequences that were filmed for Transformers 2 – it’s mostly been the same tiresome debates about how much human-to-robot screen time there will be, will the camera work be better during the robot fights, yadda yadda yadda…

Personally, I’m still feeling goosebumps from seeing that IMAX armored car/freight truck sequence in The Dark Knight. I can only imagine the thrill I’m going to get when Devastator forms up and does his thing… Oh yeah…

What did you think of the new pics and wallpapers? Everything looking good?

Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen hits theaters on June 24, 2009.

UPDATE: (Quick reminder: Advance tickets go on sale June 10th are now on sale!!! Get em early!)

  2. I don’t think the constructicon is rampage, I think it’s demolisher.

  3. Question for you

How many actual minutes of IMAX (shot) footage is there going to be in the movie. I understand it’s 3 scenes.

And do you think it’s worth the extra $4 or $5?

  4. @ ogb
I’m not sure about the minutes but probably total like 14-17 minutes of footage. And yes, I do think this is one of the movies that is worth IMAX.
