CAN NOT WAIT FOR TRANSFORMERS 2!!! All the new Transformers look so cool! The Fallen, The Doctor, Mudflap, Skids, etc, etc. Since when does Optimus Prime have TWO arm blades (no complaints here, of course!)? Hope he doesen’t die in this one, like everyone says he will. Blackout (my favourite) has a flail? Sweet!!! And what’s with the huge, cat-headed, sand-sucking monster (good luck getting out of that one Mudflap!)? Anyway, what will Megatron do when The Fallen shoots him (probably try to beat the gears out of him!)? Ravage!! Holy Geez, he looks like a one-eyed, blade-tailed jaguar!! With all the new Decepticons, God, the Autobots are gonna get CLOBBERED!!! Good luck fighting The Fallen!!!

The robots look horrible in both movies. They all just look like a pile of wires and twisted metal. I liked the cartoon and the toys because you could look at the robots and generally see that they could turn into vehicles or aircrafts. But this movie takes a pile of crap and says this is really a car or air plane. Yeah right!

Apparently the Autobots prefer Chevrolet while the Decepticons prefer Ford. LOL

I LOVE it. I'm so glad Soundwave and Devastator are in this one. Who cares if they're not like the old show. The show was based on toys, and every time they came out with a new one, they crammed him into the story (like Pokemon). Give me giant robots, cars, motorcycles and Fox half naked, and you'll get my money every time.

You're right. He *was* a stereo. I love my Walkman phone but without mass shifting there's it'd just wind up in the box with the Nokia from the first movie. :(

Besides. These are Transformers. The phrase 'Things Change' should be stencilled on your brain.

this movie is gonna be the sh*t.. i love the decepticon models but whats with the autobots they look like they assigned a couple of kids to draw bots for them lol :)

Is it just me or do the Autobots seem a little whimpy? Both vehicle and alternate modes just dont seem galant enough for the good guys- I know the bad guys are always meant to look the coolest but the Autobots werent given any room for sleekness in the looks department (finger pointing at skids and mudflap)??? My votes for ravage, they hit the nail on the head with him, also I hope blackout is revived in ROTF.

in the trailer they show demolisher taking out an overpass without any effort and he's just one seventh of devestator. it shows how big this movies gonna be.

wow all these lok awsome i cant wait to see jetfire - i heard hes a SR-71 with a cane. I love how the movie forced hasbro to really amp up the way they make these toys - the transformations and details are really complex now

looks like soundwave had totally changed. from the 80s movie, soundwave is a tape-recorder, very usefull for decepticon, purple in colour, but now turn into a spaceship.
i wonder how soundwave store the tape?

hmm... i think again they are just wrongly named. Remember the TFM2007 named Brawl as Devastator. So since they already used the name Devastator for Brawl in TFM2007, they are left but to choose another name for this Devastator character in TFM2009, which I believe the name is Demolisher. Scavenger is the character that becomes Demolisher's(Devastator) body..

Interesting point - now that I focus on just those two and compare they look like they could be the same characters from two different Hasbro toylines for the movie.

If that's the case, I wonder where the dual names came from though...

You know what- I think that Demolisher is actually one and the same as Scavenger
Hence, there are only six constructicons. They way it should be Ü

The film looks imense and I cant wait to see it! I love the names Rampage and scavenger!! I no they are toys but they are gunna look well cool in the movie!
I still think that Mudflap and skids dont look very strong! Can't wait to see Iron Hide's weapons out again!

Ok first off Breakaway is an f-35 joint strike fighter not an f-16 just like starscream is an f-22 raptor it’s all a Lockheed Martin / GM lovers movie they are going to put a corvette concept car in it so look to see a show case of new and shinny

Skids and Mudflap both have autobot symbols on their crotches.. lol.

Its going to be interesting to see how the autobots and humans win because there is so many more and larger decepticons.
