I can’t agree with your comment about a hi-res Megan Fox on an enormous screen. You can definitely see all the flaws and it does take a few points away from her “hotness” meter.

So what is the deal now…
Transformers 2 is coming out this week!!!
What do you guys suggest… is it worth it to see it in IMAX quality.
I mean for those scenes that are not shot for IMAX–> how is the picture going to be…. is the quality gonna be worse than in a regular theater screen?

Um, what?

A standard IMAX screen is 72ft wide x 53ft tall and some are even larger. A regular movie screen starts at about 26ft wide by 15ft tall.

That means that as far as square footage an IMAX screen is about TEN TIMES LARGER than a standard screen.

So yeah, not much bigger.

Haha. INK,,, I know for a fact that Vic has his own Stark Industries Lear jet, with a custom Advanced Iron logo on the side. Full Bar and go/go girls to entertain the other writers on his staff.

IMAX is overkill,,, I can see just fine thanks.

Besides there’s nothing new here,,, you’ve seen one Transformer battle, you’ve seen them all.
Just a mess of crunchy metal and blurry gunfire going on.
Its like watching monster truck porn,,,
I’m so disinterested in Trans2. Just fyi.

I pick and choose which pre-screenings I attend for movie reviews because even though they’re free they’re so far away it costs me $12 in gas round trip (and I have a 4 cylinder car).
