You guessed it, Michael Bay and this summer’s super blockbuster, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen are coming at you fast and furious and we have two new TV spots to show you.

About a week and a half ago, Screen Rant reported on the five new Transformers 2 TV spots at that time and one of them showed a pile of new footage ending with Optimus pointing his big gun at the viewer to finish off an enemy. That one spot was pretty exciting and hinted at what we’ll be seeing this time around from Michael Bay.
Before that, we saw a pair of new images for the movie with Optimus fighting two giant Decepticons while dual-wielding a pair of his arm-sword-things, something that strangely appeared only once for a brief scene in the first film.
Today’s two teasers up the ante a little more and we see Optimus not only showing off his gun again, but having TWO of them. This guy is crazy and I love it!
I suppose when you think about it, Optimus is the biggest Autobot (that we know of…) and the majority of the bad guys are bigger than him so he needs something to balance it out – Two swords and two guns are his way of doing that.

Hey “hater” haters – these clips actually look GOOD to me, OK?
I like how Bay has pulled back the camera on the fight scenes and I pray that the dumb-assed humor only rears its ugly head once or twice during this film. I’d love to see a balls to the wall kick-ass movie this time.

Doesn’t look any better to me than any of Bay’s previous movies. Looks like the same old, boring routine.

Is it just me, or at the end of the 2nd teaser, does it look like Megatron impales Prime with his right hand / claw?

These trailers look awesome. They did a good job showing a few Optimus scenes to get people interested – he really is the heart and soul of the Transformers franchise.

Don’t get your hopes up with the kiddy humor – it’s not going away and it won’t be just a couple scenes.
Liked both of them…..I’m sure the humor will be more juvenile as the first film.
I don’t know why you people keep complaining abut the “kiddy humor”. Remember this is based on a kids cartoon series and toys. I can’t wait to see it in all its glory and “kiddy humor.” And see Optimus Prime die.

I don’t look at authors of these articles much, but is there generally a difference of opinion with Transformers 2 amongst the screen rant team as each article seems to change from the film being brilliant to sin against God.

lol, partly. Vic was not a big fan of the first at all, but myself, Kofi, Ross and a few of the newest members of the team enjoyed it.
I don’t like a few elements of the movies and I think they can be easily improved but I am still very excited to see them.
Movie reviews are out and people are saying it still has has shaky cam, poorly shot action scenes, terrible comedy, sexual gags, cliche dialogue, plot holes continuity errors first 30 minutes are boring and a long list of other Transformers complaints not enough screen time or dialogue useless or wasted characters.
This reviewer (below).. says that the movie sucks but unlike Wolverine or T4 Transformers 2 is not supposed to be a good movie? It’s a bad good movie?

“Here’s the thing. Revenge Of The Fallen is a kids’ movie; the secret to enjoying it as an adult is to unlock the ten-year-old within. It is, in common parlance, completely and utterly retarded. The juxtaposition between hardcore military war movie and shitty Saturday morning cartoon feels downright bizarre at times.”
And that is from a glowing, positive review of them film.
Oh well… not that I’m terribly surprised, but I was hopeful.

i don’t put a lot of stock into reviews on action movies. all i want to see is special effects of robots fighting each other. i don’t an award winning script or acting. just kick ass robot action. all the trailers seem to give me that.
Oh yeah… this one is going to like the first one, only moreso. I just read that Michael Bay gave Devastator a pair of balls.

lol… hey man maybe it was a message to mcg about the whole “measuring contest” that they had with each other… then again maybe it is juvenile but when you wrote that i couldn’t help but to laugh. Great now i’m going to be looking for Decepticon testicles on the big screen…lol. Vic i just have to ask you one thing… do you have to go out and see this movie? i mean why don’t you let rob or kofi see it and do the review. That way you don’t have to argue on a 200+ thread on why you didn’t like the humor and all of this… you could simple say you didn’t see and you don’t care to see it… but maybe thats just me. Lol… Fun. Did you seriously have fun with the first one and the aftermath of it… The somewhat uncontrollable loop of comments, etc. I mean i already know i’m going to love it so on the review i’m going to help you out a lil to keep things civil by only writing one comment that would hopefully not start or add on to a argument that will almost 100% sure will happen on here.

yeah i’m with rob on this one… That sounds like something out of a M. Night Shymalan movie…lol. It would be funny if he just said he did though just to see if some would agree with him then for him to give his real opinion to see everybody else’s excuse of agreeing…lol but like vic says… “who knows”.

some of the pictures and short bits of film i’ve seen makes devastator look like a big quadriped, like a pitbull. so pitbull testicles? still very silly, but i’ll try not to let it distract my movie experience.

optimus is freaking awesome!!!! and there is a big Autobot : omega supreme.
