I have to disagree with most of the people already bashing this one. Sounds like it’s going to be funny.

There is an older film from the early to mid eighties that is based on a similar premise. Two slacker cavemen bumble through prehistoric life. I can’t for the life of me remember the title or actors but I know it’s out there I was just too young at the time to remember the details.

I want to hate this. Being pedantic, Year 1 would be 1AD. This movie seems to start off in prehistoric times, then a bunch of biblical stuff followed by Romans or Greeks or something. Historically it isn’t even trying and that irritates me. (yes, I am picky!)

But I have to admit to laughing at the trailer. It doesn’t look anything new and that could be all the jokes in the entire movie, but I did find it funny. Really like David Cross.

I have no doubt this will be a really stupid movie. I want to hate it, but I did find Cera and Cross bits funny.
Not Black though. Don’t hate him, but nothing he did amused me there.

I’m actually going to agree with Daniel on this one. I can’t stand Jack Black. The guy is not even REMOTELY funny. I was hoping that during King Kong (How the HECK did he get in that movie!) he would get trampled or eaten. He’s annoying and all his characters are unoriginal. This is firmly on my “Snowball’s Chance in Hell” list.

This movie looks good. This movie actually looks very good. I like the basic humour and Black has got charisma, so, yeah, it looks good.

I’m torn I’m a huge Paul Rudd Fan and a huge Cera fan , but I can’t think of many stars that I hate more than Black. The guy is simply unfunny to me. He’s always an idiot and I don’t think he has done a comedy with any intelligence sine he became a leading man. The only time he was even tolerable was when he was a secondary character.

Rudd always plays the same role too..and that’s getting old…but this looks good for a laugh and a half and I like Cera and Black…and that Who song that is running in the trailer “The Magic Bus” is a great tune…

I personally don’t like the look of this film.

It seems like an unintelligent comedy and a waste of a cool idea. It makes no sense why they’re all modern characters just wearing old clothes for the sake of it – they don’t make that aspect funny at all. I was waiting for an iPhone or Facebook joke somewhere in there.

On top of that, Cera is still playing the same role 4 movies straight and it got old a while ago

There are some funny moments and Paul Rudd is always a good time but there are too many corny and childish moments which is huge turnoff for me. I guess we’ll see come June.
