I watched this trailer during “Public Enemies” and I have to say this looks fricken horrible,,,

Julia & Julie also looked gawd aweful beware…

Rhaemye says:

Vince Vaughn’s never funny, Jon Favreau’s never funny (great director though), Kirsten Bell is not funny, and the trailer is presenting the oldest jokes in the comedybook…

Wow, really? This looks quite funny to me. Along the lines of Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Maybe I can relate a bit more since I’ve been married for 13 years. :-P

Gary says:

It looks like fun to me .
as far as Vince Vaughn Goes ,
I REALLY liked Fred Claus.

caroluz says:

i like vince vaughn, and i liked wedding crasher
but i’m curious about jon favreau, since i never watch him doing comedy :p

Stephen says:

Man, Jason Bateman is on a movie hotstreak with like 4 movies in a small time frame where he’s got a hot lady to be matched up with. In Juno he had Jeniffer Garner, in Hancock he had Scarlett Johansson, in this he has Kristen Bell and in Extract later this year he’s with Mila Kunis. LUCKY! ;)

Sock Monkey says:

I like Vince Vaughn as an actor, but so far I’ve seen maybe six of his movies and hate all of them, with the exception of Jurassic Park 2. (However it was not a comedy)And maybe that has biased me against his movies, (I have not laughed more than a light chuckle; perhaps once, in any of his movies) but from what this trailer showed it seems like a string of sex jokes. Which can only go so far until it becomes a vulgar farce. So unfortunately, this is yet another Vince Vaughn movie I will not watch.

790 says:

Vince Vaughn, is a good actor. No doubt but these slapstick romatic comedies don’t work for me at all. These seem to be all he does lately. I’m sure this will be a huge date movie,,, (I don’t watch date movies)
Fav’s should really stick to directing. He was really good in The Sopranos but he played a movie Director so there ya go.

Farradin says:

This does not look funny but something about this says heart, alot of romcoms have realistic endings nowadays which I prefer.

I don’t ever want to see another Made of Honor where
SPOILERS somebody spends their whole life being a douche then at the end of the movie gets the girl END SPOILERS!

EnglishGavz says:

Looks funny, might watch it on TV one day.

R.T. says:

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Peter “Ralphie” Billingsley direct a movie back in the 90s called The Sacred Fire?

On another note, this movie doesn’t look spectacularly funny; but neither did The Proposal and I really liked that one.

790 says:

I. Don’t see the angle in The Proposal… If Sandra Bullock walked up and forced me to marry her that would be it, movie over,,,
The next 2 weeks would be the honneymoon. I mean come on its Sandra Bullock not Ugly Betty,,,

R.T. says:

Doesn’t matter how a hot a woman is if she’s acting the way Sandra Bullock does for 3/4 of The Proposal? Count me out!

790 says:

Haaa! I’m up for the challenge RT.

R.T. says:

Better you than me sir!!! You might just want to check out the movie anyways, regardless of the angle. You get to see Miss Bullock almost completely naked!!! Only her arm and hand are covering her breasts and only a wash-cloth is covering her honey patch.

@R.T.

You’re half right. Billingsley did direct a movie called The Sacred Fire back in 1994, but it was a 13-minute short. Couples Retreat represents his feature film directorial debut.

RT says:

Aaaaah… I stand half corrected then! hahaha jus’ kiddin’!

Deb says:

If i see this movie i will be cheering for the women and Yoga Guy. Vince V has played the pissed off guy to many times.

Evie says:

Well I for one liked the trailer and look forward to seeing it.

MAKsys says:

I think we all owe ‘Ralphie’ the benefit of the doubt
;)

So does my wife, the last three films we’ve seen were Watchmen, Star Trek and Terminiator Salvation.

Slivertongue says:

It looks cute. i’m not thinking greatest comedy ever here, but I think I’ll have a good laugh. The key points for me are Jason Batemen (loved him since the Hogan Family, y’all!), Vince Vaughn – I just love his “ness”, so tall and scrumptious – ahem, I’m back on topic now… and of course Jon Favreau. I think he’s an excellent writer and I’ve enjoyed him on screen before. Quick wit and good comedic timing. The only thing that could ruin it for me at this point is Kristen Bell. She’s nice and all, but she isn’t the strongest actress…
