Agreed. I was very disappointed with Wall-E. The beginning of it was cool and it looked amazing then it went down hill from there...or fell right off the cliff.

I really didn't enjoy that overall.

I've always been a HUGE Pixar supporter, but for me Wall-E was the first bump in the road. I just didn't like that they went away from their usual family/friends message and branched out into the whole climate change debate.

I also didn't like the mix of live action and CGI - it didn't make sense in the way they employed it.

Other than that, big fan and looking forward to what they do with John Carter of Mars.

I think for the most part Pixar is brilliant though I thought Wall-E was trash and they had a few other less than stellar movies, but Wall-E was the only one I hated..

The Toy Story movies are awesome and truly an inspiration. How inspirational are they? Enough so that there is now a Toy Story religion.

I kid you not. There is a religion called Universal Protectionism that has been based on aspects of Buzz Lightyear's character. Don't believe it? See it for yourself at http://www.geocities.com/universalprotectionism

Wait...how did Watchmen come into this?

Eh...never mind.

Anyhoo, I'll be looking forward to seeing these -- I've seen every Pixar film since Toy Story first hit the cinemas back in '95 and I don't intend on missing these.

It's not often that I will watch a movie simply thanks to the company behind it, Pixar changed all that for me :) They really show how movies should be made: with care, obsessive attention to detail and a flawless understanding of how to put a good story on the big screen. For example, 'Wall-E' just blew me away upon its release -- definitely one of my high-points in cinema-going this year. With the exception of 'Cars,' Pixar hasn't disappointed me yet.

Keep 'em coming guys!

Sorry Rob I can't sit through any of the Shrek Incredibles , Toy Story, Pixar films.
They do absolutly nothing for me, and I don't care for the fancy cgi and A list voice over talent.

Its like movie cotton candy, and I don't eat cotton candy anymore. :-(
^
I'm gonna wait for the Watchman movie.
I've looked thru the book and from what I've seen, I think I want to see it on the screen...
Now a days, movies are better visually then comics...

Btw I saw a new documentary dvd today in the stores about the author of Watchman. The guy looks like a homeless bum,,,
Or what Cartman would call a hippe!
        8-)

I really really loved Toy Story win right up there with top animations of all time, but number 2 was very lack luster in my opinion and not worthy of the praise that it seems to get here. It didn't really compare to the first one. It took me three tries before I finally was able to hold my interest long enough to sit through the entire film. Then when I watched them both again as an adult the first one still is held with very high regard for me. It was brilliant and the second one is still just not all that good. I hope the third one can be an improvement.

790, Toy Story 1 and 2 are all-audience movies kinda like Shrek was.

You must see it! :)

BTW, have you read Watchmen yet?
