I just didn't like that they went away from their usual family/friends message and branched out into the whole climate change debate. I also didn't like the mix of live action and CGI - it didn't make sense in the way they employed it. Other than that, big fan and looking forward to what they do with John Carter of Mars. It’s not often that I will watch a movie simply thanks to the company behind it, Pixar changed all that for me :) They really show how movies should be made: with care, obsessive attention to detail and a flawless understanding of how to put a good story on the big screen. For example, ‘Wall-E’ just blew me away upon its release — definitely one of my high-points in cinema-going this year. With the exception of ‘Cars,’ Pixar hasn’t disappointed me yet.

It didn't really compare to the first one. It took me three tries before I finally was able to hold my interest long enough to sit through the entire film. I hope the third one can be an improvement.
