Toy Story 3 movie image 1 5 Clips and 10 Hi Res Images from Toy Story 3

Another summer week passes and another couple of summer movies fail to entertain the collective moviegoing audience. The Karate Kid and The A-Team both got somewhat mixed reviews, and, although The Karate Kid ended up topping the box office this weekend, both films felt underwhelming (to me at least).  The one movie that has the best chance to rally audiences of every age is undoubtedly Toy Story 3.

It’s been 11 years since Andy’s toys lit up the screen with humor, action and heart-warming drama. Now Andy is all grown up and leaving for college and his mom wants to donate all of his old stuff to charity.  Andy decides he wants to keep all of his toys but somehow they accidentally end up in a box destined for the Sunnyside Daycare facility.

At first the toys are concerned because they are in a new place, but then they meet a slew of new toys that make them feel right at home. The day care center is a world where children grow up and are replaced by another group of youngsters, so the toys are never felt unloved. Of course, their excitement changes to dread when they find out that the kids are preschoolers and they are, shall we say, “rough” on the toys.

Today, thanks to our friends at Collider, we have 5 videos clips and 10 hi-res stills from Toy Story 3. There are 18 stills in all and you can see the hi-res versions HERE. Enjoy the clips below:

These clips reassure me that the story behind Toy Story 3 will be as good as the other Pixar films. Michael Keaton as Ken is sure to steal the show and I think we should all look out for Trixie the triceratops to be a sleeper nomination for most popular new toy.

Now we have 10 gorgeous images for you to peruse:

Toy Story 3 is directed by Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc.) and written by Michael Arndt (Little Miss Sunshine) and John Lasseter (Toy Story 1 and 2). It stars the voices of Tom Hanks (Woody), Tim Allen (Buzz Lightyear), Joan Cusack (Jessie), Don Rickles (Mr. Potato Head), Micheal Keaton (Ken), John Ratzenberger (Hamm) and Ned Beaty (Lotso).

Be sure to check out our Guide to the New Toys if you haven’t already done so, to get acquainted with all of the new faces of Toy Story 3.

Are you excited to watch Toy Story 3 and will you be taking your kids or watching it by yourself?

Toy Story 3 opens in theaters everywhere June 18th, 2010.
