Disney/Pixar has released a new official clip from their upcoming Toy Story 3, in which our favorite toys get a short tour of their new home, Sunnyside Day-Care Center, from none other than the original, gold belt-wearing stud himself, Ken (Michael Keaton).

We also get some more footage of the center’s head honcho toy, Lots-O’-Hggin’-Bear (Ned Beatty) and a brief glance at the multi-limbed Stretch the Octopus (Whoopi Goldberg) in action.

It’s impressive to see just how far Pixar has come in terms of their animation when you compare the look of Toy Story 3 to the previous Toy Story films. ¬†Crisp detail, rich colors, fluid character movement- visually, this new footage is quite impressive.¬† So far, it looks as though Toy Story 3 will retain the wit and cleverness that made Toy Story 1 & 2 so memorable as well.

But enough from me, have a look at the new clip yourself:

In case you missed it, check out our Guide to the new toys of Toy Story 3 for a good look at all the new toys in Pixar’s latest animated feature.

Of course, we’ll also get to see Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie the Cowgirl (Joan Cusack), Hamm (John Ratzenberger), Mr. Potato Head (Don Rickles), Rex (Wallace Shawn) and more of the classic toys back on the big screen – and in 3D no less (which should hopefully be a good thing).

Toy Story 3 hits theaters everywhere on June 18, 2010.

  1. I'm excited!

  2. I always feel sorry for Woody, he's so put upon.
