Not for me Iron Knight. Knowing too much about the first Iron Man killed the first viewing experience for me.

This time I’m holding out on all IM threads and trailers. I’m kinda pissed that I already know too much about, District 9…

@ 790. That sounds good if you want to avoid the problem with the first one, but for me it’ll be pretty much impossible to resist the temptation of watching a trailer when available.

I read the twilight books to appease my fiancé and they weren’t terrible. I would definately rather see a lot of the other stuff more though. For me, Kick Ass is my number one. The comics are amazing. Though you can not expect anything less from Millar. I’m with Vic on it though… It’s going to be huge! If you haven’t had a chance to read the comics you’re missing out. As for my other two, definately Iron Man 2 and Avatar.

Really don’t feel the buzz that others do for Avatar.

About Iron Man2, I’m purposely avoiding all the photos and story info. Unlike last time when I practically knew the entire plot of the film, this time I want to be surprised when I see it.
I’ll see what War Machine looks like when I sit down and watch the film.

Well it’s about what each one likes right? But I read the Watchmen graphic novel and didn’t understand all the praise of it. Maybe it was because I read it AFTER seeing the film?

@ Ken J. Yeah, but still, it shows that “regular” people are not that interested in the new one. I think the same about Kick-Ass, I kind of compare it to Watchmen too about the fan-base.

Nah, Twilighters have a devotion to it, whether it proves to be good or not. They will never “realize” that other things are cooler. Not an insult to them, it’s like any devoted fan base of anything.

I see movies like Kick Ass having more of a devoted cult following more than a wide-spread general acceptance. Kind of like Firefly. You’ll have what seems like a large group that is going crazy over it, but if you ask people outside of that group, most people wouldn’t even know what it is… That’s just how I see it though, I could just be living under a rock, lol.

@ Vic. We are all going to go see it (H). Hey, what I don’t know if we should expect any official poster that day too… they didn’t say about that, but I guess it’s a sure bet since the merchandise seems to kick off in that day.

I too wonder when will we be able to reserve tickets…

Or they realised there were far better and cooler things coming out in the next months.

My top three choices are Iron Man 2, and Avatar of course, and then Tron Legacy possibly tied with Alice in Wonderland. I also want to see District 9, and Where The Wild Things Are looks interesting for me too. As for Kick-Ass, Vic seems to have a lot of faith in it and being a Matthew Vaughn I might check it out. I liked both Stardust and Layer Cake which are from him…
Oh, and I was wondering maybe the poll should have included A Christmas Carol too?

“Iron Man 2″ is gonna be amazing, “District 9″ looks like it could be a fun scifi flick, “Avatar” is gonna be EPIC.
