Bad British Basketball Commentary | NBA Finals Game 7

Britain’s premier netball commentator ANTHONY RICHARDSON is back to bring his commentary to Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Sorry this is so late, they’ve only just come out in the UK. Why 7 games, anyway? Seems a bit self-indulgent, to be honest.

  1. for a sketch comedy Key & Peele has a pretty high quality filming budget

  2. Top 10 HBO shows of all time — Where’s Entourage?

  3. Bad British Basketball Commentary reminded me of Steve Coogan’s Alan Partridge from nearly twenty years ago on spoof news show The Day Today:

    • A-HAAAA!

Loved The Day Today. I also loved Brass Eye, especially that one controversial episode that had newspapers demanding that Chris Morris apologised.

      • That’d be the “Paedophilia” episode, and as far as the British media goes, a classic case of “the rage of Caliban seeing his own face in the mirror” if ever there was one. The “Drugs” episode was just astonishing: getting celebs to speak out against this fictitious drug known as “cake”. Seeing Noel Edmonds parrot utter madness about it affecting the part of the brain known as “Shatner’s bassoon” elevated Chris Morris to Godlike status in my eyes right there. Even had questions asked about it in Parliament.

With the World Cup coming up, I think this one’s worth revisiting as well:

        EAT MY GOAL…

        • Haha, yeah, didn’t want to mention which episode it was in case it put my comment under moderation.

It was hilarious seeing Richard Blackwood smelling the computer keyboard and acting like he really could smell a child’s pheromones on it and how predators could easily be excited by it.

Brilliant how celebs repeated the phrase “CAKE is a made-up drug” and nobody ever realised what was going on.

  4. That Video Stores Explained to Modern Kids made me sad.
