be strong Vic , be strong.

since the Alvin & The Chipmunks movie didn’t kill us all , we should be able to survive Tom & Jerry too
( but it will probably still hurt ).

wow , T & J.
talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel.

why I ask, why? I loved this show ever since i was a little kid but it looks like they gonna screw this one up like they did to Alvin and the chipmunks and Garfield.

The inspiration for Itchy & Scratchy should be all CGI and violent as hell…These were great shorts and of the same calibur as the Looney Tunes shorts from the same era…

*Sigh*
What’s next? I’m afraid to ask!

greenknight333 says:

@ David

Woody Woodpecker dude..and believe that freakin bird is annoying as a boil on your butt…actually the boil would be a Godsent compared to a Woody Woodpecker movie…

Really? I mean…

Really?

Do kids even know who Tom & Jerry are anymore? Do they even care? Because I can’t see a script developing out of the Hollywood script machine that is going to appeal to any adult’s nostalgia while offering something to their grown up sensabilities, and I don’t see kids lining up to watch a movie based on a show that stopped airing re-runs before they were even born.

What audience do they think a movie like this has today?

Vid says:

It was just look weird as CGI. Nothing will ever compare to the 2d hand drawn classics

Jim says:

The cat and mouse pair in CGI that’s too much pal! Joseph Barbera and William Hanna would feel ashamed and also feel sorry for good ol’ Tom and Jerry.

Jade says:

oh GOD no…
Why would they even try that? This is gonna be a massive failure.
