WHAT?!!
Many script doctors have been making as much as $250,000 a week, for two-to-six week’s work on scripts and most of movies past 20 years were such craps & only few really histrically great ones ???? Maybe, it is time for slim down lazy & does not produce any great one to very talented, eager but dedicated script doctors to give a chances? Does anyone know that $250,000 a weeks is supposed to be reflect one's past sales results histries & true public audiences reactions of the movies? Does anyone know why I'm not a writer? 'cause I can't even write English! so, obviously I don't get paid. It is that Simple. In this world finacial crisis economy, We don't need people who is not really working but able to buy a multi million dollor houses & talking trashes. I'm not saying don't even eat muffins at Wi-Fi coffee shop. Can they just produce any good scripts if they are getting paid?
What are they? really? Trash talking micro-chips installed blow-up dolls with laptops at WIFI coffee shop constantly asking around relationships without working at every public places & pretending to be as a some kind of intellectual person who are flashing card of " I'm a script writer & workin' for the Movie industries...have you heard of this movie brah brah..? yes! That was end up as a crappy movie! lol but I 'm still getting paid about $250,000 a week... you know what I mean?... "
Hey Now, That's really crazy to me.

Niall, I loved all the puns in your article; it gave me a much needed laugh. :-) 8-) ;-)

I've always said that an actor's personal life doesn't affect why I would/would not see a film. Cruise is a nutcase but many of his films have been great. And I agree with Bill Blume, he should have gotten a nomination for "Last Samurai".

I do think Cruise is an excellent actor. I've always felt he deserved an Oscar nomination for "The Last Samurai." In a lesser actor's hands, that film would have been very over-the-top.

And yes, some of his work is hit-or-miss, but his hits tend to really justify a lot of the gambles he's taken, I think.
