• I didn't think Olyphant was bad in the film, actually I thought he was the only good thing about it, but thats not saying much.

    No brainer, Olyphant

I'd love to see Olyphant back as Agent 47, I thought Hitman was a really good action movie.

I'm acually a big fan of mr olyphant & personally I think he's better than this.

I loved Timothy Olyphant in this role. My son, who played the game said that if he'd never played the game before, he would have thought it was a good movie. It seems that gamers emphatically wanted Jason Statham and were seriously disappointed when they went with TO. I understand why, it would have been a natural given his looks and his martial arts skills. I'd be happy if they went with JS but I'd prefer they stick with TO. I thought he did a great job and physically was a good fit for the role. But you never know how things are going to pan out in Hollywood. It could wind up being anyone if they're in a rush to make some dough just based on name recognition. I hope not.

Not a big fan of Timothy Olyphant. He was alright; don't get me wrong. But he didn't wow me either...

You know who would be a great choice? Billy Zane. Sure he's getting old but I think he would be perfect. He's definitely bald enough...
  • Steve
He just didn't "look" naturally bald like Hitman should do. He looked - and was - just a guy with a shaven head playing a blad guy.

    It just lacked believability.
  • @Steve - The movie about asassins that are breed from birth to be Hitman in by an underground socitey, wears a suit all the time, has a bar code tattooed on his head and fights ninjas with swords on a train car "lacks believability" to you because the lead character isn't actually bald?!? Ummmmm...ok

Next you're going to be complaining that the guy playing Santa Claus is belivable because he doesn't have a big white beard in real life :)

Hands down. If Timothy O. Is out. So am I. It would not b the same without him.PERIOD
  • stuntmanJ
I hope he's in it. He was surprisingly right for the role in a surprisingly good action movie. I'm only judging from the extended cut of the film. Didn't see the theatrical cut.
  • Steve
I just meant that it just looked typically Hollywood just shaving someones head and slapping him in the movie just because he was cheap to get or whatever.

As opposed to getting someone who looked the part - I mean, Olyphants face is to wide, Hitman has thin cheekbones and powerful features like say James Marsters from Buffy (not saying he should play the part though lol)

You get what I mean though hopefully. Just compare pictures of Hitman and Olyphant and you'll see what I mean.

    @Steve

What are the odds that the secret society of hitmen only recruited kids guaranteed to remain bald throughout their killing careers? Someone had to have shaved their head once or twice.
  • @stuntmanJ

I just saw Olyphant in "A Perfect Getaway" and he was the best thing in the movie.

Look, I'm just saying he looked fake and not believable as him, but overall I liked the film and would love a sequel.

i am a very good fan of hitman i play the video games and i have the hitman movie i love that movie IT WOULDNT BE THE SAME WITHOUT HIM IN IT
  • Key
Just say it, Jason Statham looks less intimidating,on the looks front.
Hitman has to be so ugly he's sexy. Please! give the role to Jason so people can stop crying.

Love the Hitman movie, with Timothy and Olga has great chemistry,in fact I doubt very much Disel would fit that religious role, or statham. I think Olyphant is the perfect fit for agent 47 , he has a cool demeanour, that intimidating look, if he's in hitman 2 , that would be reason enough to watch.
