I hope they this movie dark as well…but not too dark to the point where it gets dull and boring…adding in some humor would be a great thing

I Really think that the nightmare before christmas is much better than the other movies that tim burton made because it has the clay models of different charactors like sally, mayor, vampires, warewolf, witches, hanging tree, oogie boogie, lock, shock, barrol, behemoth, and jack

Craig, you thought that the book was dark and creepy?? Honestly I love the fantastical effect adn spin Burton puts on his films, but i do not think his dark settings quite work for this film. Alice and wonderland, to me, is very whimsical and light, almost airy, which I peronally do not think is appropriate for the movie especially when he claims to be more true to the book. Although, it has been revealed that his adaptation of the film will be more as if alice went back to wonderland after a couple of years, the hedges will be less neat and tidy adn the buildings wont be as clean…which i guess makesan excuse for his sets which tend to be alittle creepier

I love The Nightmare Before Christmas. But I think Tim Burton shouldn’t really go for a some-what cutesy story like Alice in Wonderland. I hate Alice in Wonderland and the dude who made was high when he made that story too!

The good news is that neither UK or USA is hosting the 2010 World Cup (South Africa is).

The bad news is that Alice in Wonderland is set to be eclippsed by the likes of Iron Man 2 and a modernized adaptation of The A-Team (In this version, Murdoch, Hannibal, Face and B.A are veterans in the Middle East not Vietnam). In UK and USA there are more fans of the A-Team series than Lewis Carrol’s Wonderland stories.

Alice in Wonderland has been my favorite story forever. I do agree that it should be totally creepy. The cast sounds amazing so hopefully I’m not dissapointed. I don’t care how crappy the rest of the movie is, as long as the scenes with the Cheshire Cat are good!

I’m so effing excited for this movie!!!! It’s a great cast and awesome story line. I’m elated to know that Tim Burton, the greatest director (in my oppinon) will be directing and producing this movie. I can’t wait for March of 2010!

About your article on Alice in Wonderland. I know you said you don’t like it (neither do I) However, it’s because it was only written by Burton not directed by him. The director is a gentleman named Henry Selick.

I was wondering though if you know anything new on Cormac Mcarthy’s novel to film the Road?
