Ken J — to which journalists is Tim Robbins alleged to have made “death threats”? That’s quite a serious accusation to level, even on a discussion board. Care to share? Or have you got a bit confused by people sending HIM death threats, both in real life and in The Player?

I personally think that this is going to be a very well made film. It will probably have its dry and dull movies as most of Tim Burton’s movies do, but overall I think that the public will be ultimately satisfied with this adaptation.

Depp can relate to people when he meets them. That’s one thing that stands out about him as an actor. He’s actually very normal …

I’m not a fan of Depp’s MOVIES, not his off-camera personality. Sometimes the two can be completely different. Look at Tim Robbins, on-camera he’s a decent actor, usually plays the “nice guy” and all that, then look at his off-camera personality, he’s full of himself, thinks his opinions are gospel, and has made death threats to journalists on at least one documented occassion.

I wasn’t being sarcastic about Depp. I’m mainly pointing out how so many of these big stars with really busy schedules still find a way to make an appearance in these things in one form or another, made a similar comment about Sam Worthington, who was too busy to show in person, but made a video for the fans instead. Hey, it shows they care and make the effort. Kudos. Unfortunately not all celebrities are like that…

He loves his fans, I’ve met him and he’s the nicest guy in show biz!!!

Wow, even johnny Depp was able to take time off his busy schedule to greet the fans. How good of him. Still not interested in the movie though, was just curious who the “surprise guest” was, lol. Don’t we all love surprises?
