What?? What do you mean "exclusive footage" at Comic-Con? I saw all three trailers (in 3D) in Urbana, Illinois (!) on Friday when I took my nephews to see G-Force. The 'Alice' trailer was a formal, complete trailer, not just scattered clips. A bit short, but most first trailers are. The usual Comic-Con distortion field is still alive and well I see.

The trailer? It looked absolutely awesome. All four nephews (and their aunt and uncle) immediately put it on their 'must see' list. The rest of the audience went nuts...

I'm glad Alice is back and Tim Burton is taking this amazing timeless classic tale to his own typical twisted dark conclusion. Johnny Depp and the rest of this cast should prove to be stunning but I don't see this as kid-friendly. If Hollywood is finally returning to Alice and this limitless fantastical world, why doesn't someone wake up and make the Looking Glass Wars book series into a film?!

I see some of your points, Daniel. But to be sure, this will be the first (big screen) non 'pretty happy-go-lucky' fluffy bunny version of this tale. I loved the book, and I hope that Burton will bring out the truly disturbing and mental parts of the real story. But since it was originally promoted as a children's tale, the studio may not give Burton the room he may want to go too dark with this since it'll likely bring in a lot of kids.

It reminds me of American Magees. I like the dark twisted Alice and Wonderland. So I want to see this I'm just worried though. Burton is famous for doing Dark true, but he always dose a poser dark which its cheesy and over the top and he never pulls off that dark feeling. He usually puts in a few odd looking set pieces and literally uses dark lighting and thinks he's edgy. I'm hoping he really gets a dark mood running through this. I want a twisted and creepy film.

Is it seeing Alice in Wonderland on the big screen that's making you want to see it, Daniel? Just curious as to why you're interested if you hate Tim Burton.

Man I wish I didn't want to see this film. I really want to see it, but I really can't stand Tim Burton. It should be interesting to see how it turns out.
