And if there weren’t foreign movies… how would the Americans make a profit by copying other people’s well done work? This remake will be just like Il Mare’s remake, The Lake House, boring and with no sense at all… I’m gonna watch and pray they won’t change the plot so much.

You say that Europeans doesn’t have a clue on how to make good movies? If that were true, how could they made such a movie? To be honest, there are so many crappy American movies today than it was before. If you don’t have anything good to say, shut up!!!!

Let’s face it: Europeans have absolutely no clue on how to make movies. While watching LTROI I had this sensation of watching a brilliant, but poorly handled material. There was absolutely no action. There was absolutely no music. The movie was a bore.

Foreign movies suck and they know it. They lack the know-how of the American movie industry. Foreigners should stop making movies and return to what they do best: idle their lazy time away.

I thought the original was really good, and i cannot find myself looking forward to a butchered and dumbed down American version. Just watch the original people!!! I know reading and watching something at the same time may seem remarkably difficult, but trust it can be done with just the smallest of efforts.

The original was a great small film. Very creepy but well done. Viggo speaks highly of young Kodi’s acting ability so this movie is a great chance for him to show what he can do. If they make it as good as the original I think people will see it. It is sad that people don’t watch Foreign films because of the sub-titles, now a great film will get a second chance…

My opinion of Let the Right One In was hurt, I think, by the fact that I knew it was a vampire story going in. While still a great movie in its own right, I think I would have enjoyed it more if I didn’t find out they were vampires until around the middle of the film, which is where, if I remember correctly, the revelation occurs.

If was never really set up as a twist, but I still feel that it could have been a really strong one if I had no idea I was watching a vampire movie from the start.

I hope that this version at least tries to make it into a viable twist, rather than put it at the fore front of all the advertising.

I really enjoyed Let The Right One In. I loved the story and they really did a great job. Hopefully it can be the same for this one.

I would still like to see the original.
and just for the record ,
I NEVER see Foreign Films that are dubbed , replacing the subtitles .
Subtitles dont stop me from seeing a film.
