In all honesty I really want to check this out. I’m a big fan of Thor comics and I was thirsty to have some Loki-Thor fresh interaction as allies instead of foes.
Probably the choice to do an animation as this is to bring young people in to Thor: Marvel needs a new generation of fans and the movie seems to do the trick. After the success between young people of the serie X-Men Evolution (that I personally hated, but -hey- I always found people around the net who miss that show)I think that they want to do something similar with Thor.
Let’s not forget that now in the comics we have a sort of deaged/innocent/clean slate Loki…maybe they want to show the characters to new readers in a more positive light?
Frankly I don’t know what to hope for

It's sad, really, because there are so many young animators and stylish design houses that could do better, but this stuff comes off like they're trying to ape the superman animated films… cheaply.

makes me glad that DC pwns marvel at cartoon movies. I can never get a good vibe from marvel toons.. Adult Swim has better stuff…

the young avengers movie was a let down, and so was planet hulk to some degree.
the only marvel cartoon movie i did enjoy was hulk vs wolverine.
they should screw the target audience and just make a more mature version of this childish crap.

It looks great, can't wait to check this out. Oh yeah I saw Planet hulk, that was awesome, I hope they make world war hulk movie and another ultimate avengers animated movie.

wow, that looks like crap. You'd think with all the technological advances in CG animation, you could make cheap, rushed cell stuff look better than 70's scooby doo.
