hulk was not struck by lightning on his back in the scene where he is sitting on the rocks with her. Not sure where you got that.

I don't know. I think the director would have made it more obvious. Aparrently you are quite familiar with the Hulk, but the general public isn't. However, that is still cool……

The link was said to be the lightning storm that took place when Hulk was fighting the army at Culver University. First, it was bright and sunny, with no clouds in the sky, then all of a sudden lightning shoots forth and rain follows suit to put out the fire that came about when Hulk destroyed the chopper. Hulk holds betty in his arms amidst the fire.

When he brings betty up into the hills to shield her from the rain, lightning strikes the Hulk on his back, and he picks up a boulder and throws it into the air (at whoever shot the bolt of lightning at him), cleary looking for the next challenger as his (Hulk's) fighting stance shows, while protecting Betty with is huge outstretched hand.

What many do not know about the Hulk is that he is able to see ghosts and tears in the astral plane. Why is this important? because if Thor was trying to egg Ol' Greenskin on, Hulk was able to see him, while others could not. Hence Hulk knew just where to throw the boulder and, as stated before, was ready to fight this new challenger.

Finally the news reporter reported the fight on Culver grounds and made reference to the "powerful lightstorms," as she said. END SCENE

In The Incredible Hulk movie…the scene where he is shielding Betty Ross from the Thunder..I heard someone mention that that may have been a link to Thor somehow! We had a connection to Capt America and Iron Man in that movie – was this the link to Thor ? Looking soooo forward to all these movies and the hints about The Avengers! Great fun ! Feel I was a kid again !

When you think of Thor, think of “DR.Who” and his world based on science. Thor's magic or Loki's magic on earth would probably be explained as a mastery of “Alchemy” not magic.

That's the reason for bringing in Stellan Skarsgard's character, he's a scientist and they will be taking a pseudo-science approach on how Thor exists with the “real” world. They can't just throw him in there and think that people will accept it. It will more than likely deal with inter/extra-dimensional exploration,Stonehenge,Runes,sub-atomic particles,(maybe even Pym particles) and crossing over to the other side of sub-atomic energy(beyond quarks,biaps etc.) Maybe even dealing with Micro-verses,parallel dimensions and stuff.

It'll either be SKURGE “The Executioner” or “The Absorbing Man”. Both characters were manipulated by Loki to attack Thor although Skurge is more connected to The Enchantress.Looking at “The Absorbing Man”, I have to say that Gatt looks almost exactly like him(except for the ears). However there is also another actor named David Mattey who is cast in Thor who looks EXACTLY like Skurge. I Thor will have some serious issues with bald guys in this movie.
