My feelings exactrly. I plan watching them in the near future as well, and maybe once again before 3. I was getting a bit confused with the preview and the trailer, but the toy story 3 preview was just a teaser while this one is the real deal. The trailer certainly looks good up to a point. That point being where Buzz gets ‘stuck on the Spanish setting’, simply because that idea looks remarkably similar to a plot point used in the popular machinima series ‘Red vs. Blue’ created by RoosterTeeth years ago. It’s an interesting coincidence, if you want to call it that.

My pick for Pixar’s best would be The Incredibles and Up, Wall-E was too boring and the ending was pretty dumb in my opinion… Just my opinion. Toy Story 1 and 2 were both great. I liked 2 more than 1 though.

Read some things about Blake Clark. . . if he’s the same person I’m thinking about, it’s the one coach that no one could understand in “The Waterboy” and the father for Drew Barrymore’s character in “50 First Dates,” and a whole bunch of other stuff in those Adam Sandler movies.

As far as this trailer goes, the first half is amazing. It is quite astonishing what Pixar does with it’s movies. The films all seem to grow in some kind of emotional way, sparking tears and laughter along the way. “Wall*E” and “Up” are probably the best of the Pixar movies ever, and if they can carry that momentum over to this, I have no doubts that “Toy Story 3″ could be one of the best films of all time, let alone animated.

I had to watch this again. I saw The 3D double feature last night and it was a blast. It was the best experience I’ve had at a movie theater in a long long time. Pixar has definitely played their cards right with the marketing and hype for Toy Story 3. I was at Target today and they were stocked with Toy Story merch, plus they put in that new Toy Story ride at Disney World and Disney Land. Pixar is genius. Also seeing the first two again helped me notice things I’d never noticed before and the intermission/trivia in between really made it feel like everyone in the audience was friends and I think that’s what the third movie will do. Toy Story just makes people happy.

Probably because Pixar don’t seem to do these things just for the hell of it, but usually do these things because they have a story. The Incredibles is Brad Bird’s baby, so I should think, unless he has a story to play with, they won’t force him into one (or do one without him).

The Incredibles did kind of scream out for a sequel though.

Speaking of which, when the hell are they going to listen to the fans and make an Incredibles 2?? Everytime Pixar is brought up, people talk about how they loved The Incredibles and would love to see a sequel, how come Pixar/Disney doesn’t seem to notice this?? I’ve been noticing that for years…
