I fear what this film will turn out like. I've seen enough bad films to spot a bad director and if this is anythink like Jurassic Park 3 I will turn off after 5 minutes.

The second trailer looked badass? No No NO. The second trailer was awful, over edited mess. The first trailer made the film look like an old black and white style horror movie, and I think Joe Johnston deliberately made the film like that. SO this news give me concern that his vision for the film is going to be re edited into a more modern slick flick, which isnt what i was hoping for.

And Jurassic Park III isnt perfect, but it has its moments.

Agree with M-Cat.

Frankly, I'm so sick of vampire movies that this movie could suck Rosanne's gonads and I'll still love it out of pure desperation.

this film is going to be badass i have been waiting for a updated version of wolfman and the trailer looks great. i just hope they remake the creature from the black lagoon with this type of feel to it make it kinda dark and deep in the amazon with really big taranchulas and snakes,and crocodiles. i saw a concept picture of what the creature would look like on you tube it was some kinda moquet or something but it looked really great.the only films im looking forward to besides these two are steve altens the loch,a remake to resident evil more like the first game,splice,underworld the begining,and some real great killer animal films with good story and acting.we really need more monster films with good story like this wolfman film. we have way to many slasher and ghost stories.bring on the universal monsters.

Harry at Ain't It Cool News had some set reports recently that pointed out that the crew and cast were divided during production, from Mark Romanek's departure as director.

Too bad about this film--it seems like a no-brainer to me.

One more thing to add to Murch's credentials: he was one of the first major editors to go non-linear with AVID in 1994/95 (English Patient) and then moved to Final Cut Pro in 2001/02 (Cold Mountain). He's also a top editor teacher/mentor--his book "In the Blink of an Eye" is amazing, and I hear his lectures are killer, too. He's also an excellent sound/foley editor.

Of course we should be worried about Captain America. If this guy can't handle The Wolfman how is he supposed to direct and make gold out of Cap? The Avengers could take a major hit if Cap goes bad.

@Kofi

I'm nitpicking but I believe it is "alchemy", "e" instead of"a".

I am looking forward to this as well. Being a huge werewolf genre fan I want this movie to do well and be kick-butt.
