Oh oh!!!! The other shoe is starting to fall for Mr. Worthington.. I think the cat is out of the bag when it comes to his acting skills. Studios gave him a couple passes– a couple Mulligans….. But the fans complaints and the studios not doing as good as they wanted to is starting to make them take notice. oh oh!!

I think there is hope for Worthington though, as long as he has the look and he has the marketable name. All he needs is to take some polishing on his acting skills! I think he has a presence so that can't be taught. But he needs an injection of some emotion and character. In that regard–he's actually the opposite of Johnny Depp come to think of it!!!!

Depp brings a charisma, a different flavor for every role he takes. In his roles he brings a 'je ne sais quoi'. Like when he did the Pirate, he struggled with the studio when he first came back to them totally reworking the costume of the pirate, putting beads and lil dreads on him etc. They were like “NO NO NO NO” and he was like “YES YES YES” and they were like “WHATEVER DUDE” and he was like “I THOUGHT SO MO FOS” and now its one of the biggest franchises in movies!– ((to describe the exchange in a very simple manner..lol)))

I don't see Sam having that kind of vision.- but he can hit the drawing board a bit going back to school and giving his characters for example different mannerisms, falling into a different place instead of “Worthington playing so and so.” He can still reinvent himself.

Sam Worthington is an amazing actor. He has done so many awesome Aussie films it would be great to see him in this film. I'm a huge Depp fan and more Depp screen time the better for me….But with Ange…not so sure. Just Jealous I guess. Sam is great and I would love to see him with Ange…See if he stands up because she is very talented ….

I would prefer Sam Worthington in this movie. I’m not a Johnny Depp fan. I think he’s one of the most overrated actors working today.

I love Angelina…I don’t, beleive it or not, watch a lot of Depp movies because I am not a big science fiction, fictional kids film person…The Tourist would be one of the first non fictional type movies for Depp and I would like to see him play that type of part for once.,,instead of all the children fantasy world stuff lets see him play a regular sexy man in the today 2010 setting! I think it would be a huge hit with him in it…I think Worthington is hot but Depp would bring another level of interest for me and I thing a lot of people.

I don’t see Johnny doing a movie like this. For some reason this seems like a movie he wouldn’t normally do and not just because Burton isn’t the director. I’m not expecting him to do this movie.

In some ways, it doesn’t surprise me the director has changed. I’ve seen it happen when small projects attract major talent and suddenly the studio gets nervous and hires a “name,” experienced director.

There is no way at all that johnny depp would just ditch pirates of the caribbean: on stranger tides!, theres just no way what so ever!. Those other movies mentioned in this article will have wait because Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is the number 1 movie on Johnny Depp’s “To Do” list and he even showed everyone that list on an mtv movie interview video not to long ago!!!. So if anything!, the fact that websites are saying that he is doing some other movie first, before pirates 4, those websites are completely incorrect!. They don’t know what they are saying, is actually wronge!!! =/……………

It’s funny how it was only a short time ago where Tim Burton and Johnny Depp both informed the media that their next shooting project was going to be “Dark Shadows” and said film is nowhere on their resoective radars.

Johnny Depp is definitely a big step up from Sam Worthington. Worthington isn’t a BAD actor, but he’s definitely not nearly as impressive as Depp, and not as popular either. I’m not a big Angelina Jolie fan, but with Johnny Depp by her side…. This might actually be good. People are going to want to see this with these two in it. They are 2 of the most recognized names in the business! I’m not sure if I’m completely sold on it yet, but once I see a trailer for it I should have a better opinion.
