Groaann.. another bodyswap/age-swap trite.

And as usual, when all else fails in the film, they’ll put in scenes of adults behaving like retards (’cause they’re actually teenagers trapped in adult bodies), or just throw in lots of slapstick to let us know how awkward the people are in swapped bodies.

I’d hesitate to call this trend a “cash cow”. While some of those movies you listed did better than others, I don’t think any of them made the kind of money that makes Hollywood think “Gravy Train”.

To paraphrase a colloquialism: Never attribute to greed, what can easily be explained by an extreme lack of imagination.
