The last film I really liked Ferrell in was “Elf.” Otherwise he just plays the same character over and over again in every movie.

Now lets not make this personal For me personally, I don’t enjoy Will Ferrell’s style of comedy, it’s not me being pretentious I feel the same way about Ricky Gervais. While some of their stuff is amusing occasionally I just don’t appreciate it in the same way as you.
I like fun and entertaining films, just not the majority of Will Ferrel’s

Why is everybody down on Will?
The guy makes movies that are fun and entertaining.
He’s not trying to win an oscar, nor are his cast mates in these films.
Lay off him and enjoy the movies for what they are. Some of you people really need to pull the pretentious sticks out of your backsides.

Johnson isn’t in The Expendables because Johnson isn’t an action star. He’s too busy making Disney flicks.

For a minute I thought we were actually getting a new Rock action flick, but then I realized it was just another lame Ferrel comedy. Old School was awesome, and Talladega Nights and Stepbrothers had their moments, but every thing else he’s done, including Anchorman, is just awful.

Though I am a big Mark Wahlberg fan, so I might consider seeing this.

I thought Anchorman was awful. How that is a classic is beyond me. Saying that, though, I do like alot of Will’s movies (especially Elf and Stepbrothers). I hope this is good because I like all the actors involved in it.

One other thing: Why wasn’t Dwayne Johnson cast in The Expendables? He’d have been PERFECT in that film!!

i think will ferrel is an actor/comedian that needs a strong supporting cast to really shine.

he had paul rudd, steve carrell, and others in anchorman and that made it that much more special.

the panther cologne part … hahaha classic
