The story sounds right up my alley! I like how Peter Jackson seems to be able to put to film the scenes that I envision as I read something (AKA LOTR) as we seem to envision things similarly and he has done a great job of bringing great things to the screen while remaining true to the work off which the film is based. I will probably be able to read the book before the film is released so that I can make the comparison but it's enough to make me want to catch it! Plus...with him usually staying true to text it's great to see what the author had written and compare the film to what you saw in your head as you read it. Stanley Tucci looks great in the trailer...not a character which I'd expect him to play and that's what acting is all about. Have to see how it plays out in the film but he certainly looks like he pulls it off well even just from the short bits in the trailer. And I agree that the trailer is awesomely put-together. Effective use of score and the right scenes spliced together to induce the chills. And with the heatwave we've got going here as I post this, the chills are greatly wanted. But watching the trailer really brings back all those feelings I felt at that time. Seeing this trailer gave me a breath of fresh air as I was given an interpretation of the story faaaarrrr different from my own. I am definitely keeping my eye on this one.
