Holy Cow! Here’s the red and gold Mark III armor from Iron Man!!!
That, my friends is freaking beautiful!

This armor exceeds my expectations by a mile. Again, I think this movie is going to rock… no question.
This suit is VERY close to the concept sketch version that I posted a few months back, but it looks even better than I imagined it ever could.

That is just beautiful.
I wonder what abilities they’re going to give it. I hope they are well-defined (sometimes the armor would pull powers out of nowhere in the comics).
Based on the concept sketch I saw I believe it will have some or all of the following:
- Repulsors
- Forearm-launched rockets
- Micro-bombs
- Smokescreen capability
- Anti-missile flares

EXPECTED.I still hope they go for a look that’s closer to the classic comics,as I mentioned before,the classic look is much more realistic.

opening title sequence,like Spider-Man or Superman.
best armor ever !!!!ive been an ironman fan for 40 years and im so glad to see this movie made i hope marvel gets a clue to do a movie right you have to have the right budget and not be cheap and keep it close to the comic book thats why the punisher failed at the box office if they gave them a descent budget it would done great marvels to busy pushing x men or spiderman they have tons of fantastic characters to make films of i would love to see in ironman 2 if their will be one the crimson dynamo & titanium man as villians and also warmachine.

I read Iron Man as a kid, but my personal renaissance with the character came at the beginning of the Layton/Michelinie era. So far on this film it seems like they’re just nailing every detail perfectly.
In regards to War Machine, if the movie does well and the make a sequel, I’m betting we’ll see that armor then. I read somewhere that the foundation for Rhodey ending up in that armor is being laid in the first movie.

It looks almost as though it’s a hybrid of the
classic comics version and the modern comics
version. Just look at the chest light and you’ll
see what I mean;it’s round! I like that!! I also
like the boots and how there not knee-high like
the comics today. I still think the classic look
would be good.
I agree, it looks like they’ve combined the best of the classic and the Granov armor and made it believable. I am SO glad they’re not using the “hooker boots” that’s in the current version in the comics.
