For some strange reason, he reminds me of something out of the first and/or second Resident Evil video game.

I dunno, personally I prefer the more traditional comic book look.

AHH, the ears ruin it, if he had the ears it would be fine, but that just looks weird with that round, too human looking head.

I think this is either an early sketch. I would say it could be fan art that fooled someone into thinking it was legit, but no fan would take away the ears. Why!? Why would the ears be removed? It’s like a trademark, like the Hulk’s green skin (no red Hulk comments). Every rendition of Abomination in the comics that I can think of had the ears. It doesn’t make sense to redesign him that much.

Are those teeth under his ribs? Did Sam Raimi design this? Reeks of Army of Darkness or Doom3…

Looks like a roided-up version of “Decompose” from the “Inhumanoids” cartoon series, with that prominent rib cage and all..

Not bad, but could be alot better. Hope this is an early design.

Could be worse. Could’ve been Nick Nolte! (Gah!) ;-)
I don’t see why they just didn’t go with his comic style look,he looked much more original and even iconic,IMO,in the comix.

Too bad tho…..

Maybe I’ll like it better once I see some footage of it.

Reminds me of the sketches I saw in Wizard mag a few weeks ago for the “new” Abomination in the Red Hulk story arc.

I think it sucks, the original abomonation design was awsome, but you know Hollywood these days, trying to improve on a look that was alreadey nailed down. Raimi kept to the original designs of the villians in the spiderman movies (except for the Green Goblin but you knew who it was)I hope they don’t go in this direction, if they’re going with old school Hulk, they should go with the old school abomonation

Yea Rob I think you speak for us all here at Screenrant.
Unfortunitly when a comic hero goes into production as a film the producers allmost allways CHANGE the original concept.
Hollywood is full of creativity but sometimes its hard to see it thru all the ego and bs.
