Todd Phillip’s The Hangover was a surprise R-Rated comedy smash that even managed to walk away with a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical two years ago. This summer brings The Hangover Part II, and with it comes even more tasteless acts of drunken mayhem from The Wolfpack – which is exactly what fans have been looking forward to.

Warner Bros. has released four television spots for The Hangover Part II that further tease the latest crude and outrageous antics of the Hangover comedy crew and their new monkey accomplice.

Here’s the all-too-familiar premise for the sequel:

In “The Hangover Part II,” Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.

The full-length Hangover Part II trailer likely brought on sensations of déjà vu for many a viewer, seeing how just about everything (plot mechanics, characters, etc.) was made to look identical to the first film – with the only significant difference being the change in setting, from Nevada to Thailand. As I mentioned before, though, that’s precisely what everyone has been expecting from the beginning.

While these new television promos may not be exactly laugh out loud funny, they do a good job of offering a glimpse at some of the more outrageous and (literally, in one case) gut-bustingly wild gags The Hangover II will deliver. Chances are good that you already know whether or not you’ll enjoy this type of comedy – and as far as R-Rated yuckfests go, I’d say this looks like one of the better ones that’ll be arriving in the near future. So here’s to looking forward, right?

The Hangover Part II arrives in theaters next month on May 26th.
