The Good Doctor cast has fun behind-the-scenes in Screen Rant's exclusive gag reel from season 4 of the series. The clip is part of the special features on the DVD release of the show, available on August 31. All seasons of the medical drama are also available to stream on Hulu.
The Good Doctor follows Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, in his work at St. Bonaventure Hospital's surgical unit. Season 4 of the series saw Shaun facing new challenges as his romantic relationship with Lea (Paige Spara) deepened and he was put in charge of supervising a new set of residents. The show also tackled COVID-19, as the doctors dealt with the uncertainty and pressure surrounding the pandemic.

The Good Doctor is an American remake of a South Korean TV show by the same name. Actor Daniel Dae Kim (Hawaii Five-0) bought the rights to the show and serves as an executive producer. He also starred in a 4 episode arc in season 2 of the series as chief of surgery Dr. Jackson Han. The Good Doctor also stars Fiona Gubelmann as Dr. Morgan Reznick, Will Yun Lee as Dr. Alex Park, Christina Chang as Dr. Audrey Lim, Hill Harper as Dr. Marcus Andrews, and Schiff as Dr. Aaron Glassman.
Season 5 of The Good Doctor premieres on Monday, September 27 at 10 PM on ABC. New cast members for the season include Noah Galvin as Dr. Asher Wolke, Bria Samoné Henderson as Dr. Jordan Allen, and Osvaldo Benavides as Dr. Mateo Rendón Osma, who have all been promoted to full-time cast members. Deadline also reported that Rachel Bay Jones from the musical Dear Evan Hansen will also feature in a recurring role in season 5.
