Pedro Jimeno from The Family Chantel was once considered a level-headed person, but fans have changed their views about him lately. The Dominican Republic native is most known for his stint in 90 Day Fiancé season 4, during which he married his American wife, Chantel Everett. Initially, the couple had a good relationship on the show, full of happy moments and loving gestures. Despite a few family fights, the two had an incredible bond that most fans expected would last forever. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, as their relationship worsened after six years of marriage.
In the latest season of The Family Chantel, viewers saw Pedro being extremely cold toward Chantel as he pulled out of the marriage. Sometime later, he asked his wife for a divorce, and she heartbreakingly accepted the fate of their relationship. They’re also battling out their differences in court, as Pedro has accused Chantel of emptying their joint bank account. While Chantel’s move was pretty harsh, most 90 Day Fiancé fans are taking her side for some good reasons.
Many viewers believe that Pedro has dishonored his wedding vows by allegedly being unfaithful to Chantel. According to the rumors, the 30-year-old reality star has probably hooked up with other women. While some fans think he has slept with his boss, others feel he cheated with his coworker. The cheating rumors haven’t been proven, and Chantel has also not clearly said that her husband may have cheated. But most fans believe that Pedro’s sudden cold behavior toward his wife resulted from his infidelity.
It is also believed that Pedro was never in love with Chantel, and that he used her to build a life in the United States. A few old videos from The Family Chantel further support these claims, where the real estate agent is seen admitting that he will leave his wife after getting his green card. This is why most 90 Day Fiancé fans feel that the season 4 star was scheming from the beginning of the relationship and biding his time until he could afford to be in the country.
Pedro is also losing his fans because of his hypocritical behavior on The Family Chantel. Recently, Redditor ChemicalRelative470 shared a photo of Pedro in his cluttered bedroom and called him out, stating, “How can Pedro have the nerve to call Chantel messy and lazy?” Other people also agreed as they felt Pedro was undoubtedly a hypocrite for living in such an untidy condition. The Family Chantel fans can’t seem to stand Pedro anymore and feel that the show would be much more entertaining without him.
