The latest TV spot for The Dark Knight succeeds in getting the blood pumping in anticipation of the Bats vs. Joker showdown that is already being hailed by early reviewers as an indisputably classic piece of cinema.

A wise man once said “I got a fever, and the only cure is… more Joker.” And this new TV spot is cure-and-a-half, in my opinion. We get to see a lot more of the manic depth Heath Ledger infused his final performance with, as well as some pretty solid evidence (in just 30 seconds) that his is the Joker comic books have always described (a raw, unquenchable, force of pure chaos,) but cinema has failed to deliver (sorry Jack.)
Take a look at the video. go to rottentomatoes and look for the dark knight there’s a 1 review there with a spoiler that heath ledger’s is sure to be a nomination for an oscar for best suppurting actor and considering the running time of the movie it’s also like the films the godfather and the godfather part 2 which the the dark knight is equal as good as the godfatehr part 2
No it states that Bales performance is as good as Al Pacino’s in the Godfather II in the angst he feels for doing what he must…at least that’s what I got from it…they did state that Nolan has made a classic piece of cinema though…This is fantastic news!!!
You’ve been here a little while, but I just realized that I absolutely love your articles Kofi. Your a real credit to this site and a great addition to Vic and Crew.
“Let her go”,
“Poor choice of words!”
“Haaa haaa haaaa!”.
The more I see of The Joker, the more excited I get. This will be incredible.
