On today’s movie media roundup, I’ve got a new clip and Superbowl ad for the upcoming horror remake, The Crazies; I’ve also got a new TV spot for The Wolfman remake; finally, a new photo of “The Dude” himself, Jeff Bridges, reprising his role as Kevin Flynn in Tron Legacy.

Again, no need to thank me for collecting all this stuff into one place for ya – we here at Screen Rant like to make your movie promo experience as convenient as possible! Now, if only we could get the studios to start compensating us for doing so…

Anyway, since we have two new videos of The Crazies, we should probably get to that first.

The film is direct by Breck Eisner (Michael Eisner’s son) and is a remake of an old George Romero horror flick of the same name. In this version, Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) is a small town sheriff who gets caught in the middle of a nightmare when the citizens of his town start losing their minds and killing one another. There’s something in the water that’s turning people crazy…

Yesterday we posted a clip that hinted at what that ‘something in the water’ might be; today, thanks to Hulu, we find out just how crazy these crazies can get. Following the movie clip, we the TV Spot for The Crazies that will air during this weekend’s Superbowl, courtesy of Shock Til’ You Drop:

Continuing on our new video kick, here is the latest TV Spot for The Wolfman, which stars Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving and Emily Blunt. This spot aired last night during Lost‘s season premiere and the verdict from the people at my Lost party was, “That looks horrible.” See if you agree:

Last but not least, we have a new picture of Jeff Bridges from the upcoming Tron Legacy. It’s a pretty boring image – just Daniels’ character Kevin Flynn looking out of what appears to be a window. Still, besides a recent interview with the film’s director, this is pretty much all the Tron Legacy we’ve gotten lately.

  1. why does he have a disc on his back?

  2. The earlier “Wolfman” clips looked better, more atmospheric. So what happened? I have a feeling that at some point the “Wolfman” movie loses its tone as the monster is shown more and more. “Dog Soldiers” was like that. Instead of the reveal at the end being unsettling you feel relieved. An after thought… The music was flat in the clip.

I guess Jeff Bridges just came out of the CPU world in the picture. Is that why he has the Frisbee on his back? In the first one wasn't the things in the V.R. world separate from the real world? That must be the difference in this one “the cross-over.”

Demand phone interviews first. You have to draw them in further. Get a real dialog going.

“The Crazies” could have an advantage over Zombies. They seem more aware, which would equal, more dangerous.

Umm by the way, thanks Koffi…

  3. Your Lost Party people are clueless, The Wolfman looks great! Love the part of him running on all fours. I'm SO going to see this!
