In yet another installment of our Screen Rant “Life Style of Convenience Initiative” today we offer you three new vidoes of three upcoming winter/spring movies.

On the menu for today’s video buffet are:

  • A new SFX featurette for the remake of George Romero’s The Crazies.
  • A new TV spot for the comic book movie The Losers.
  • A new clip from the action/comedy Date Night, starring Tina Fey and Steve Carell.

That’s a lot of vid to sample, so we better get started.

Starting with The Crazies: the inhabitants of a small town become unwitting victims of a government bio weapon that turns people into murdering psychopaths. The film stars Timothy Olyphant (Deadwood) and Radha Mitchell (Silent Hill); it was directed by Breck Eisner (Sahara).

In this featurette, courtesy of Empire, SFX makeup designer Rob Hall describes what kind of thought process went into making The Crazies look…well, crazy.

Moving on, we now have the first official TV spot for Sylvain White’s (Stomp The Yard) adaptation of DC Vertigo’s The Losers. The film is about a team of special forces operatives who find themselves on a CIA death list and decide to do something about it. The ensemble cast includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Watchmen), Idris Elba (The Wire), Zoe Saldana (Avatar) and Chris Evans (Push).

Check out the TV spot:

Finally, a little stroke to your funny bone in the form of a new clip from Date Night, the action/comedy that stars NBC alumni Tina Fey (30 Rock)  and Steve Carell (The Office) as a nerdy couple trying to spice up their marriage via the titular date night custom. When they get bold and decide to swipe a reservation at a fancy restaurant, the couple land themselves in the most deadly case of mistaken identity ever.

In this clip, Carell and Fey’s characters are on the run and seek help from a certain shirtless hunk you may recognize:

That’s it for our video buffet of the day, please place your trays back in the racks found on top of the waste receptacles. Thank you, and we here at Screen Rant hope you enjoyed your meal.

The Crazies hits theaters on February 26th.

Date Night hits theaters on April 9, 2010.

The Losers hits theaters on April 23, 2010.

  1. The Crazies sounds interesting…but I won't see it in theaters. I'll wait for the DVD. The Losers looks decent, but this TV clip really didn't do anything more than the original trailer. I'll probably go to it in theaters. The Date Night clip was hilarious! I'm so glad that Steve Carell and Tina Fey are teaming up in a movie. It should be comedic gold.
