After their time on The Challenge, Jenna Compono and Zach Nichols have built a life for each other and just welcomed a baby boy. Fans know Jenna and Zach from some of the best seasons of MTV’s The Challenge, and though the two of them can be controversial, their first moments as parents are something to celebrate. The couple didn’t share many details, but fans and their fellow Challenge alum have voiced their congratulations.
Jenna and Zach met while filming Battle of The Exes II, and there were instant sparks between the two. They continued their fling after the season ended and their relationship continued to get stronger. Zach and Jenna kept dating while competing in multiple seasons together, though neither of them ever won a final. It wasn’t until after Jenna filmed Total Madness in December 2019 that Zach surprised Jenna with a proposal and the two got engaged.
In February of this year, Jenna and Zach surprised fans when they announced they were expecting their first child, and then in March the couple finally tied the knot. Since then, Jenna has kept followers updated on the progress of her pregnancy, and five days after her baby’s due date, Jenna revealed on Instagram that she was getting induced. “It has been a crazy journey and a long 41 weeks,” Jenna said. “My doctor and I made the decision weighing the pros and cons of MY situation and pregnancy thus far, and that’s what we decided!”
Jenna and Zach are a somewhat problematic Challenge couple. Many fans were angered by Jenna’s anti-vaccine remarks, and much of the fandom sees Zach as toxic for his previous behavior on the show. However, the excitement that Jenna and Zach feel as brand new parents is palpable and it’s hard not to feel happy for them. Despite their controversial status among fans, Jenna and Zach’s followers and Challenge alum were eager to congratulate the couple.
Though they were memorable competitors on The Challenge, Jenna and Zach aren’t likely to return to the game any time soon now that they have a new baby in their lives. The couple seems overjoyed, and though they haven’t revealed much about their new baby—like his name—more details are likely to come soon.
