I love the original film, and while I'm intrigued by this new version, it looks like they're turning the virus into the same sort of "rage virus" that you get in 28 Days Later and I Am Legend. It doesn't look like that'll be a huge plot point, but it's enough to bug me. The story's plenty intense without it. I watched this trailer the other night.
