Just yesterday we got a look at a badass new image (shown above) from the upcoming movie version of The A-Team, which stars Liam Neeson as Hannibal, Bradley Cooper as Face, Sharlto Copley as Murdock and Quinton Jackson as B.A. Baracus. The image came courtesy of The LA Times and today comes a whole batch of new photos from the movie, which I guess were meant to go along with the one from yesterday, but just arrived a little later altogether.

Based on the 1980s TV series of the same name, The A-Team will follow a team of Iraq war operatives (updated from Vietnam veterans) who escape from prison after they were framed for a crime they didn’t commit. Now they’re on a mission to clear they’re name, undoubtedly kicking butts and taking names in the process. It’s directed by Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces, Narc) and written by Michael Brandt, Derek Haas and Skip Woods.

Here are the five new A-Team images to add the awesome one shown above, courtesy of Latino Review (click for super high-res versions – thanks to /Film):

I’m most definitely on the side of the fence that thinks this film looks like an entertaining action flick that’s well cast and visually slick. I know there are people out there who disagree and don’t like that they’re changing a lot of the things from the original show – but that’s the great thing about the movies: the pure subjectivity of them.

What do you think of the latest images released for The A-Team? Look good to you so far? Or is it a disgrace to the original show? Let us know in the comments below.

The A-Team will be released on June 11th this year in the U.S., and on July 30th in the UK.

  1. I was always a big time A-Team fan…so when I heard about a movie being made, I was definitely intrigued; especially with the casting choices. But after having seen a leaked trailer for this film recently, I'm now on the fence and a little concerned as to the direction of the film. Yes, it looks like there's a lot of action, which is good…but mixed in with the trailer were cheesy, one-liners meant for comic relief. Had they kept that out of the trailer, I would have been really excited about the film…but now I'm not so sure. I would definitely prefer to see a more serious take on this one. We'll see I guess.

  2. I find it odd that in some images of Liam Neeson, there are echoes of George Peppard's “Hannibal,” while in others, he looks like himself, albeit with gray hair…overall, I will probably see this movie, as I am a fan of the original series.

  3. Looks good but should Faceman have bigger muscles and be in better shape than BA? Rampage looks like he Rampaged thru Wendy's. Fat ass drunk. Should have been that other UFC dummy Kimbo

  4. Loved the TV show as a kid, but my original reaction to the news of an A-Team film was pretty much total disinterest. The more I'm seeing about the film, the more my opinion is changing. The trailer hit the mark for me, and the cast looks like a lot of fun. I'm not expecting Shakespeare from this, and no one probably is. I get the feeling this film knows exactly what it is and trying to be and is at peace with that.

One element I'll be curious to see is the death count. Morbid, I know, but I remember an article back when the show was on TV that it was considered one of the most violent shows on TV, but no one ever died. I suspect the film will deviate from this, but you never know.

  5. This movie is becoming more and more interesting to me. I think it's going to be a fun, action popcorn flick, and having Liam Neeson in it sure won't hurt it's legitimacy. Even with Jackson as B.A.

  6. I think Liam Neeson has lost his mind.
