I really can’t see Terrence Howard as Mavin Gay but think he could probably be the one in fact my pick to play Smokey Robinson. But the only other actor who with his looks could pull it off would be Denzal Washington.he could play Marvin

Jessie L. Martin is playing Marvin Gaye in another biopic not being made by Cameron Crowe called “Sexual Healing”. That film only focuses on the last few years of Marvin’s life, because Crowe and Rudin have exclusive rights to the use of Marvin’s Motown catalog.

They’d have to take Will’s ears back. They’d be to distracted besides that fact that Marvin’s ears aren’t shaped like that.

Will Smith as Marvin and Howard as Smokey would have been grand. I agree that Howard doesn’t look the part of Marvin but he has a great range as an actor. Hopefully this can be another hit like Ray.

You are so right! I was just about to say that! If there is going to be a Marvin Gaye movie, Smokey Robinson has to be in it so I’m all for Terrence playing Smokey. If Usher could act then I’d say maybe Usher. I could see MAYBE Marlon Wayans as Marvin Gaye just MAYBE. The actor who played in Smallville as The Martian Manhunter “PHIL MORRIS” looks the most like Marvin Gaye!!!

I can see him playin Smokie Robinson, but Marvin I don’t see, he looks nothing like him. Maybe if he can do something about his eyes.
