Lucky you, it’s time for another Screen Rant giveaway. Terminator Salvation is looking better and better – and we’re giving away something that will help you enjoy the film: Four (4) copies of the the official movie prequel novel Terminator Salvation: From the Ashes.
Here’s the official description of Terminator Salvation: From the Ashes (The official movie prequel novel):
In Terminator: Salvation, the highly anticipated new installment of the Terminator movie franchise, set in post-apocalyptic 2018, Christian Bale stars as John Connor, the man fated to lead the human resistance against Skynet and its army of Terminators. From The Ashes, written by Hugo Award-winning author Timothy Zahn, is the official prequel novel to the high-octane new movie, revealing the full story leading up to the movie’s events. In post-Judgment Day LA, two lost kids named Kyle and Star keep watch for Terminators; a jaded Marine struggles to keep his rag-tag community together in the face of unrelenting danger; and John and Kate Connor assemble their Resistance team for a brutal assault on a deadly enemy.
I think reading a prequel story to a film helps make the movie watching experience better – I recently read the four issue Star Trek: Continuum series which is a prequel to that upcoming film, and it fills in a lot of detail that won’t be explained in the film itself. So with this being a full blown 320 page novel I’m sure there’s a LOT of background here to prepare you for the film.

Ah, Twitter, I am still refusing to join that since it is run by Google, lol. Google = Skynet
google does a lot of things right. i’m not a fan of twitter too much but it’s not horrible.
btw, i didn’t get my email for this thing.
@Ken J
Google doesn’t own Twitter.
Yet.
Vic
@cat
You won’t get an email, you’ll get a Direct Message in Twitter.
Vic
sorry, that’s what i meant. in the “direct messages” box? no direct messages.
For some reason I thought twitter was run by google, lol.
Ok, fine, I’m not part of Twitter, geez. My internet footprint is just getting larger and larger, there’s absolutely no way I can remain anonymous when the next civil war breaks out…
Oh, just realized I forgot to put any smileys, I’m just kidding, haha. That can be kind of a weird thing to say seriously…
Google has been interested in purchasing Twitter, I have no idea why? Other than it follows inline with their global power grab…
In a few years Google could be Skynet, remember it was the software,,,
^
I would have to recomend people not read the novel version of the film as it takes away all the surprise of a movie. See the film first then read the book to fil in the gaps.
Can’t get to Twitter at work (security blocks anything dealing with Skynet
). I was hoping this was going to be a movie ticket giveaway; but yet again, all hope has been lost.
Actually skynet began as hardware… And it actually worked like it should have worked for a while before it turned against humans. It was only in that abomination of a movie T3 where they changed it to software that magically began “evil.”
@cat
Hmmm… FYI I’m trying out a new application to manage this that I’m not familiar with. I would make sure you’re following Screen Rant and then maybe try retweeting the message.
Give me your twitter user name and I’ll keep an eye out.
Vic
@Vic
New application? This wouldn’t be some type of autonomus learning software would it?
LOL, nope.
Vic
@ Vic
twitter name: mcatphilly
@Cat
I think I see you entered as Twitter user mcatal, but I see you following me as mcatphilly.
Try doing the RT from your mcatphilly account.
Vic
@Vic
they are the same account just different screen name.
I cant get into twitter or facebook or any of that i spend too much time just browsing as it is, and why do you care about others peoples day?
i also haven’t gotten a direct message on twitter (ICEMAN63100). because my acct is private?
@tim
Actually that may be the reason.
