I think reading a prequel story to a film helps make the movie watching experience better – I recently read the four issue Star Trek: Continuum series which is a prequel to that upcoming film, and it fills in a lot of detail that won’t be explained in the film itself. So with this being a full blown 320 page novel I’m sure there’s a LOT of background here to prepare you for the film.

Google has been interested in purchasing Twitter, I have no idea why? Other than it follows inline with their global power grab...

In a few years Google could be Skynet, remember it was the software,,,

I would have to recomend people not read the novel version of the film as it takes away all the surprise of a movie. See the film first then read the book to fil in the gaps. :-)

Can't get to Twitter at work (security blocks anything dealing with Skynet :-) ). I was hoping this was going to be a movie ticket giveaway; but yet again, all hope has been lost. 8-)

Actually skynet began as hardware... And it actually worked like it should have worked for a while before it turned against humans. It was only in that abomination of a movie T3 where they changed it to software that magically began "evil."
