Terminator Salvation is featured in the newest issue of Empire magazine and that means an awesome new cover to go along with it.
This issue of the magazine comes loaded with a full feature article for Terminator Salvation and two free posters; one of the original Terminator one-sheets with Arnold Schwarzenegger and the other is the poster that came out back in November which depicts the face of a T-800 unit made out of a top-down view of a post-apocalyptic city.
This new image which would serve nicely as a poster, features Christian Bale’s face being grabbed by a mechanical hand. Check it out:

What do you think of the image? And are you excited for the fourth installment in the franchise?
Terminator Salvation stars Christian Bale, Anton Yelchin, Sam Worthington, Bryce Dallas Howard and Moon Bloodgood. It is directed by McG and hits theaters on May 22, 2009.

Around the web:

It fine..sepia toned, not too much in the picture to distract from it’s theme, half of Bale’s face to make it more intense …….ahnd zee terminatah hand ready to crush pathetic human head like grapefruit.. It’ll do…I am looking forward to this a lot more than I was to T3
Pretty sweet cover. Can’t wait for the movie…
I’m not fond of it, it looks at first glance like it is going to pinch his cheek fondly. Around his neck would have been much more impactful. I still have high hopes for a Bale based terminator movie though
Eh … this poster makes it look like love movie:
A nice soft rain.
A strong grissled leading man.
The gentle touch of a stranger.
Kinda makes you say … aaahhhhhhhh!
I gotta quit letting my wife talk me into watching chick flics on the weekends. This past weekend was Nights at the Rodanthe. Not a bad movie actually but my wife hated it because they butchered the book it was based on (see, it’s not just comic book origins they destroy), so that gave me a smile.
Seems a bit like the Matrix posters, without the codes and Green, but to the same effect.
