I think it is really rated R for nudity. The MPAA just added on the “some violence” to make it seem like it was going to be more violent and bloody. I dont see the violence being any worse than that in the theatrical version.

I’m not positive but I think it’s just the opposite. I think the franchise just went up for sale so the 5th movie and beyond are in limbo. Someone needs to buy it and keep the franchise going.

Calling this a directors cut with only 3 mere minutes added is very lame. This studio that is ruining this franchise won’t get my money.

Had they allowed McG to add the 30-40 extra minutes of footage he mentions in other interviews, then maybe it would be worthy of a “Director’s Cut” title. Otherwise this should be titled like Paramount’s titles- “Terminator Salvation: Putting in the Nudity To Sell More Copies to Young Horny Fan Boys Edition”.

I want to see Moonblood naked as well, but lets call it what it is.

Somehow, I think they are going to give McG more time to create a true Director’s Cut and then release that along with T5 which is already planned for a double dip.

I am not a sucker, this is a no but for me. Netflix rental and thats it.

daylight or night time, id like it etheir way. Thing is to me that all 3 films had a great chase in them. I liked the climax chase with the truck and motorcycle in T1. In T2 i liked the semi chasing johns dirt bike and Arnold’s bike jump even though no motorcycle could withstand a fall like that. And of-course T3′s crane chase. They almost cut it out due to budget reasons but Arnold put up some of his money to see it make the cut in the movie. I thought you didnt like T3. I liked how Kristanna Loken said that line too. I loved Arnolds response to someone in T1 when the guys asks.. hey buddy, you got a dead cat in there or what? Terminator: F**K YOU A**HOLE. lol. I doubt Speilberg or Howard would even think of doin T5. They know they’re too respected to do that.

790 your watching T-3??? It’s hard to fathom that a robot could be programmed to use hyperbole… but Arnie did say that he was uploaded with basic psychology. Of course using hyperbole is more effective when you know how to smile, huh?

the crane chase was intended for a night chase but they decided to do a daytime chase to save 10 million dollars… (True!)

All the massive destruction scenes (crane taking out power poles) were film on a completely false front street.
The set was built on Downey Studios California and was over 1/2 mile long.
The same location was also used for the Manhattan Green Goblin attack in Spider-Man.

Yup, i forgot about the terminator sayin those lines in T1.
I loved the crane chase in T3. and i remember that Huffington woman who was running against Arnold for governor giving him crap about how he was fighting a female Terminator, especially dropping her head first in a toilet. I liked the cemetary secen where John is panicing and the Terminator chokes him etc. and says Better after John says the F word to him,lol

I usually fast forward through the part where John explains his past/future to Kate in the back of the truck.

I love the action scenes in the film.
One of my favs is when Terminator breaks open the safe to get the code books, and then says “we must go its not safe here”.
