As long as McG is in charge, I will have my doubts.
Definitely don’t think the son of Boris is a good choice.

Yeah, I think that’s why he’s trying to reassure fans.

And Andy… good eye! :-)

Grant, thanks for the correction. BTW, it’s not Bale that folks are worried will be bad for the film - it’s McG.

If McG wants to reassure the fans all he has to do is QUIT!

Well, here comes Skynet….!
(Or McG as some call it).
All we can do is wait and see… Just like Abhrams.
Its going to be cool that both Star Trek and Terminator are coming out in the same month. Both are films that bring a lot of risk to the franchises.

First off a picture of a HK flying around isn’t anything we havnt seen. Sheesh that’s the first thing in Terminator.
Color me, underwhelmed. And wtf is Kiss doing there. “Do they provide the soundtrack?”. (I hope not!!!!!)

If there going to do a future war trilogy right, there going to have to stay true to the comments made by Reese to Sarah in T1.
The bad feeling I have on this is that Bale might bring a Batman Begins attitude with him, and they might change the landscape in a way that’s insulting to fans.

Also, I would rather have an unknown play Reese, as Yetchin dosnt look anything like M Biehn, and frankly he’s going to be in Star Trek0 and Term4 at the same time. Its too much!! I hate when actors become the flavor of the summer. Ech not a good taste.

Vic, (this might be common sense to most) but I think I’ve figured out the title.

Terminator Salvation=
Obviously the Resistance is going to be hacking its way into Skynets network and capturing Terminators to reprogram as allies.
I think the actress “Jadagrace” will be the female Terminator lead.

The Future Begins=
For better or worse I feel that Connor is going to have his eyes set on changing the past to create a new future for mankind. This will involve time-travel. I feel the Marcus character will have something to do with this.

??????????

I have to say I don’t see how watching the first three movies helps capture the character of Reese, seeing as he was only in the first one.

Kiss posters survive all it seems!

Lol, KISS, are the cockroaches of Rock!!!!! Haha.
Didn’t I see them in “Damnation Alley?”.
^
Good point Steven the Git, yeah Reese was in T2 if you watch the Special Edition, but he’s nowhere in T3.
And Btw, Steven, if you havnt seen the Special Edition, I highly reccomend it. (Is a far superior film).

NO, don’t think I have seen the Special Edition of T2. Well, if I had I would remember it!
Right, another thing for my shopping list then. :)

Yeah Steven once you watch the Special Ed. You’ll never watch of the theatrical verson again.

There’s like 16 min of addtional footage. Including a fantastic flashback scene with Kyle Reese.
Not too mention some great scenes of the T-1000 malfunctioning after the deep freeze.
I reccomend the Terminator 2 Extreme edtion dvd. There’s a real good 5.1 headphone track on that one!

Ok ok! I’m getting it. ;)
Just found it and will buy it. Almost bought one of Terminator as well but seems to have been touched up. Liked the way it looked as it was.
I have it on tape (vhs) so that will do. :)

Ah Steven, you won’t be disapointed!
Please watch it and come back and tell us what you thought!

Also The Terminator, Special Edition dvd has some real excetional commentaries. The dvd came out back when dvds were really chock full of documentaries. There’s like an hour long interview with Cameron, Gale Anne Hurd and Arnold. Don’t let the trippy cover art fool ya. The film looks great on dvd!
