The newest star of Teen Mom 2 star, Jade Cline, was called by her mom who begged her to bail her out of jail after her meth possession arrest. Jade has been very open with her fans about the struggle she faces with her drug-addicted parents but on the newest episode, it was all a bit too much for her.
Cline originally starred on Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant and was attending beauty school before she became pregnant. The Teen Mom had been in the news for having to make the hard decision to call the police for an escort when she and her family struggled to move her out of the house, she shared with ex-boyfriend Sean Austin. Along with the police, presence tensions ran high which resulted in Cline fainting from an anxiety attack. Now the mother of one has made the news for her parents’ bad decisions.
Fans watched Tuesday’s nights episode when Cline received a call from her mother that she and her husband were in the Marion County Jail. The two were charged with possession of meth and were trying to get bailed out. The 22-year-old was driving when she answered the phone to her crying mother, Christy Smith, who was begging for Cline to post the $500 bail. The Teen Mom tried to explain to her mother that she did not have the funds to bail her out as she needed to pay her own rent to make sure she and her daughter, Kloie, had a roof over their heads.
Even though Cline continued to say she did not have the money, Smith kept begging for help, finally being cut off by the operator. While speaking to the cameras, Cline said she would have to figure out how to come up with the bail bond money even though she was not sure how to. Smith had been arrested on May 10th and charged with five counts of possession which included possession of paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a controlled substance according to jail records obtained by People. Michael Smith, who was Cline’s stepfather, was also arrested and charged with multiple counts of possession.
Cline was only announced as the newest member of Teen Mom 2 back in June and opened up about how her parents had been drug addicts for her entire life. The mother explained that they were binge addicts; they would be okay for a while and not using then all of a sudden fall off the wagon. The 22-year-old explained that it had been very hard for her to lose her mother to drugs and wants more than anything to get her mother back to a healthy stage.
