Amen, Vic! It’s a day to remember those who fell to protect the freedoms we enjoy here in the U.S.

My Father died a little over a year ago .
He served in world war II,the Korean war and the Vietnam war(Stateside) briefly.
I remember him today .
As well as the rest of those brave men and women who have given their lives for our freedom.

Rest in Peace fallen Heros!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Let us never forget that our troops died protecting freedom around the world. (Freedoms that no other countries have).
Let us never forget that the military fights to preserve the Consitution and the Bill of Rights. Let us never forget that sacrifice, and we must never let it be in vain or forgotten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
No matter who the commander in chief is, the Troops allways have my support!!!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I urge everyone tonight to watch a movie or read a book about our Heroes. Band of Brothers, Midway, Saving Private Ryan, Combat(tv show), Kelly’s Heroes, etc.
Maybe some others can put up some heroic films I missed.

As I recall, you served in the military a while back, Vic. All of us owe you — and everyone else who has served — a debt of gratitude. As the old saying goes, freedom isn’t free.

Thanks, Brian. Yeah, four years in the Navy a long time ago.
