underworld: Awakening is the fourth entry in the Underworld series, taking place years after the second film's events. Kate Beckinsale returns as the part of vampire hunter Selene, who is captured and frozen for twelve years, awakening to a world where most of her kind has been wiped out. Fighting for the right to exist, Selene strikes back against humanity to protect the beings of the underworld.
