Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg have announced that they are to make a follow-up to Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead.
The new film titled The World’s End is part of a two film deal that Wright has signed with Working Title (the makers of “Shaun” and “Fuzz”) and it will again be co-written with Pegg.
Wright said of the deal :
“We’ve had a lot of fun with them so far and it delights me to continue the partnership in the future with new material and bold directions.”
I’m pretty sure that Johnny Depp will not be involved!
The second film in the deal - Baby Driver (I wonder if the soundtrack will contain Simon & Garfunkel) will be an action and crime comedy set in America (for a change).
