Three weeks ago, video blogs and pictures from the set of David O Russell’s The Fighter were posted by a user called “The Fighter” on IAmRogue. The only problem was that nobody knew about their existence, so you might not have heard anything about it. Until now, that is.

If you remember a couple of months ago, a photo was released showing an emaciated Christian Bale walking around on set. Now, for those interested, you have a veritable treasure trove of photos and videos for your perusing.

Several months ago we told you about The Prisoners (the “The” is new), a thriller with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale attached to star, while X-Men director Bryan Singer was eyeing the directors chair. Well, the film has now been put on the fast-track for a fall 2010 release.

There’s just one problem – Wahlberg, Bale and Singer are no longer attached to the film.

So what does this mean?

Revenge of The Fallen meets Dawn of the Dinosaurs; it’ll take 6 years to see the last Airbender; Adams looks on as Batman fights Marky Mark; George Clooney leaves Warner Bros; The Green Hornet is delayed and Tony Scott, Denzel Washington and Chris Pine are stoppable.

It appears that The Dark Knight himself, Christian Bale, will be starring alongside Mark Wahlberg in the boxing movie The Fighter. The film, now being directed by David O. Russell (he, Wahlberg and Bale’s involvement are still being negotiated, by the way), will be financed by Relativity Media (first initiated by Paramount Pictures who will now only be distributing in the US) and is hoped to be in production this summer.
