<p>Harry Knowles posted up a very interesting story yesterday on <a href="http://www.aintitcool.com/node/42153" target="_blank"><em>Ain’t It Cool News</em></a> about the future of the <em>Batman</em> franchise and more specifically, what could happen with the eagerly anticipated <a href="http://screenrant.com/tag/batman-3/"><strong><em>Batman 3</em></strong></a>.</p>
<p>Remember the few beautiful scenes in <em>The Dark Knight</em> that were shot in IMAX? What if the next movie was entirely shot like that?</p>

<blockquote><p>“The THIRD chapter of Christopher Nolan&#8217;s Caped Crusader&#8217;s saga could very well be FULLY shot in IMAX, not IMAX Digital &#8211; but the beautiful, stunning IMAX that we saw pieces of THE DARK KNIGHT in.”</p></blockquote>

<p>Word is they are hoping for the newly rejuvenated <em>Batman</em> franchise to pull a <em>Harry Potter</em> and have sequel after sequel.</p>
<p><em>WB</em> CEO Jeff Bewkes spoke out today on the company&#8217;s hopes for multiple sequels:</p>

<blockquote><p>&#8220;We look at Harry Potter. It&#8217;s fantastic to have franchises that last that long. We want to do that with Batman and Superman and perhaps Sherlock Holmes.
